Modeling and Simulation on Active Space Debris Orbit Maneuver Based on Laser Ablation Impulse Coupling

摘要:

空间碎片对人类航天活动的危害很大,用高能激光减缓其危害性被认为是最有效的手段。分析了空间碎片在激光作用下的变轨过程,建立了相应的物理模型,并给出了空间碎片受地基激光辐照后轨道变化的数值模拟过程。对空间碎片主动离轨防止碰撞在轨卫星实例进行了仿真计算,并对仿真时间内空间碎片的轨道根数、空间碎片与卫星之间的相对距离变化进行了数值模拟。仿真结果表明,地基激光能有效改变空间碎片的飞行轨迹,是避免空间碎片与空间目标碰撞的一种新的解决途径。

Abstract:

Orbital debris poses a great thread to human space activities and high power laser is considered to be the most feasible method to migrate its hazard. A physical model is built in this paper based on an analysis of the process of laser radiation against space debris. The orbital elements of space debris under laser radiation are studied numerically and the findings are applied to space debris collision avoidance with a satellite. A simulation example is set up to study the space debris avoiding process. In addition, numerical results of the orbital elements of space debris and their relative distance from the satellite are obtained in the circumstance of laser interaction. The simulation results show that a ground-based laser may effectively control the orbit of space debris realize the avoidance of satellite collision.
