Abstract: In this paper, the test data of post-impact compression strength are statistically analyzed for T300/5405 composite laminate. It is indicated that a two-parameter Weibull distribution can be used to describe the data of the post-impact compression strength. Afterwards, the damage tolerance reliability evaluations are carried out for the T300/5405 composite laminate by introducing the concept of impact threats. The results indicate that the damage tolerance behavior of composite laminates can be taken fully by taking the impact threats into consideration in the reliability analysis.
