Abstract: A Logistic transformation-based response surface method is proposed to formulate the relationship between performance reliability and design dependent parameters (DDPs), and performance reliability optimization design models are formulated. The performance reliability response surface model is built by steps of experiment design, integrated simulation, Logistic transformation, polynomial regression, variance analysis, and model verification. Taking performance reliability as target and the feasible region of design variables as constraints, performance reliability and related DDPs are designed and optimized. In the case study of an actuator, a response surface model of performance reliability and DDPs (Ce, Kp, J) is built based on integrated performance and reliability simulation and regression analysis. The optimization equations are set and optimized, which takes actuator performance reliability as target and DDPs (Ce, Kp, J) as design variables.
