Abstract:

A method to determine the threshold that based on the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLR) in fault detection of the redundancy strapdown navigation system is described. The impact of the threshold on mission reliability of the fault tolerant navigation system is very important. The application of this approach to two thresholds determination is illustrated for a pentad instrument set of gyros, and to optimization of two thresholds based two methods-minimizing the probability of vehicle loss and minimizing the error probability of FDI. Two methods are compared in the last part of this paper.
