Abstract: Natural vibration equations are derived by use of the sectional warping corrective theory for composite laminated beams and Rayleigh method at first, and then hierarchial finite element method is adopted during numerical analysis. The obtained results for both of dynamic characteristics and dynamic stress distribution are compared with the solution of the first order shear deformation theory. It is shown that the first order shear deformation theory is more erroneous in high frequency calculation.
