Abstract:

The research is on the superfine column structures, change of carbonides, form and distribution of cobalt-base K 10 superalloy under superhigh speed directionalsolidification, with the help of a newly developed directional solidification equipmentwhich has a superhigh temperture gradient of 1000~1300K/cm ahead the solidifyingS/L interface.ExPerimontal results show that the directionally solidified superfinestructure consists of highly refined primary spacings and degenelated or even erasedside branches, the carbonides are directionally arrayed and carbonides' form changedfrom the islands' shape at general casting state to worms' form.
