A MORE GENERAL FORMULA AND ALGORITHM FOR IDENTIFYING STRUCTURAL JOINT PARAMETERS

Abstract: A more general identification formula is presented to identify structural joint parameters by using the experimentaI Frequency Response Functions(FRFs),and its identiflca-tion algorithm is presented correspondingly.It is proved that the proposed method is superior to that proposed by Tsai and Wang,because the latters are only special cases of the forrner.There is no special requirement for the dynamic experiment in the proposed method,so it has wider appli-cations and is more convenience in engineering.In addition,the proposed method can significantly decrease the adverse effects due to avoiding inverse operation time and again on the experimental FRFs matrices.The numerical example shows that the identification accuracy is sat-isfactory.
