STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF FATIGUE CRACK GROWTH FOR BONDED REPAIR SHEET OF LF21 ALLOY

Abstract: In accordance with CCT specimen of LF21 antirust aluminium-alloy (material of JX auxiliary fuel tank ), through bonded repair with composite patch adopting two types of ad-hesives the statistical analysis of fatigue crack growth is presented in two kinds of distributions. Thus, an excellent reliability analysis base is provided for establiahing a new patched-crack growth model. The calculation results show that the anti-fatigue performance of XH-11 adhesive is superior to metalplastic adhesive. These results can be used as reference in bonded repair of aircraft structures.
