Selection of Work Frequency for Near Space Vehicle TT&C and Information Transmission System

Abstract:

Near space vehicle is a kind of high performance information weapon, while the tracking, telemetery and command(TT&C) and information transmission system is the core of information guarantee for it. The selection of work frequency is the foundation and precondition of system design; moreover, it can be of great significance in the development of near space vehicle. From the international telecommunication union(ITU)’s international standard, high speed data transmission, receiver signal-noiseratio (SNR), “three antis”(antijamming, anti-interception, anti-destroying), beyond line of sight relay, blackout, rain fade, and equipment maturity, the author analyzes the selection of work frequency for near space vehicle TT&C and information transmission system. The conclusion is presented that Ka-band is the appropriate work frequency for line of sight link, and Ku/Ka dual-band is suitable work frequency for beyond line of sight link.
