Abstract:

This paper aims at the large aircraft and its structure characteristics，and by comparing the man assembly system with the machine assembly system and analyzing relation curves of automatic assembly and assembly cost, points out the meaning of automatic assembly technology which ensures long life, high efficiency and low cost of large aircraft structure, both in research and in manufacture. Also,the paper analyzes the overseas actuality of automatic assembly of large aircraft and several systems of automatic assembly and level of automatic assembly,and summarizes the advanced thought and means of automatic assembly of large aircraft of western countries,for example,determinant assembly.Finally,aiming at the actuality at home,such as the low level of automatic assembly and the demands for developing and manufacturing large aircraft,some suggestions are put forward,including developing the modularization automatic assembly system,carrying out the means of concurrent engineering and realizing the designs for manufacturing and assembly.
