Abstract: In this paper, the effects of critical electron density of plasma and the plasma frequency of electron on the refraction, absorption and reflection of the electromagnetic wave are studied. On this basis, the strong ionization discharge with high density and energy of electrons is used to ionize nitrogen and oxygen to form high density of grad plasma layers, which can absorb and reflect the electromagnetic wave and then attenuate the RCS with several thousands times. The plasma generator is a thin groupware weighing several grams and can be attached to the parts that refract electromagnetic wave or to the air intake. It can be utilized to form small airborne plasma generator with wide absorption band, high absorption rate and optional response function.
