Abstract: This paper presents the design idea of the geometry allocation of the wing surface of bump control deviceson the wing surface of MAV to control its attitude. The effect of a tailless MAV’s single bump control device on thesensitivity with respect to aerodynamic force and moment is studied. On this basis ,four bump control arrays and thecorresponding candidate points are selected ,and the aerodyamic shape and control system for the MAV are simultaneously optimized by using genetic algorithms. At last , the control response characteristic of the optimum design isanalyzed , and its result shows that this technique is effective.
