Abstract:

A nonlinear mathematical model of the rotor system is built under the assumptions that the rotor system is articulated and the blades are rigid. A nonlinear aero thermodynamic model of engine, a simplified fuel control system model and a simplified model of driver train are also built. The integrated simulation model of a helicopter rotor/engine system is composed of all these models. On the basis as above, the dynamical response of the integrated model to the changes of pilot and the effects of fuel control system changes on the integrated rotor/engine system are studied.
