Abstract: Flight safety and travel comfort are affected while an aircraft penetrates the hot smoke stream from the high chimney of coal burning power plants.Open loop and close loop states for normal flight and normal weather, abnormal flight and tranquil wind for different airplanes are numerically simulated. In study of dynamic properties of aircraft influenced by the hot smoke stream, the feedback control laws of energy altitude and its rate are used. Actual sensations and judgments of pilots making a penetrating flight over a power plant are proved and reproduced by the results of numerical simulation.
