STUDY ON WEAR PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION OF AIR ENGINE WITH ITS APPLICATION TO WEAR MONITORING

Abstract: A Weibull probability function is proposed to fit the size distribution law of wear particles from oil lubricated elements of WZ\|6 aircraft engines through the statistical micromorphology studies of debris.A method is introduced to estimate the random errors of ferrography sampling and an algorithm for wear states monitoring and faults diagnosing of air engines is developed.
