THE OCEANIC ENVIRONMENT AND ITS EFFECTS ON FLIGHT

Abstract:

The oceanic environment means mainly changes of sea wave and marine meteorology. It directly affects flight performances of airplanes and harms their safety. This paper discribes the main characteristics of the oceanic environment and emphatically analyses the effects of the oceanic environment on operation and maintenance of ship-based helicopters and puts forward requirements of the ship-based airplanes (helicopters).
