Abstract:

A series of uniaxial ratchet and creep tests on 316L stainless steel were performed. in the 20 000 stress cycles, the evolution rule of ratchet deformation and the propirty of saturated ratchet strain of this material were discussed. And the phenomenon that the amplitude stress affects the peak-stress-dominatingrule was investigated. The results from research on the relationship between ratchet and creep behavior of the material show htat the ratchet deformation under cyclic stressing is essentially caused by visc-plastic of the material.
