Abstract:

In order to define the intermediate product information on the digital manufacturing of aircraft sheet metal parts, the manufacturing-oriented multi-state model for sheet metal part (MOSS) is further described. The model structure is built on the basis of the hierarchies of state, feature, element and data (SFED).The hierarchy represents its content and relationship among its components. The definition order of the model states is discussed in an example. The model is applied to the manufacturing of sheet metal part.
