Six decades of Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica: Inheriting legacy, forging excellence

Abstract:

Since its inception in 1965, Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica has made significant contributions to leading disciplinary development, serving engineering innovation, promoting academic communication, and fostering talent cultivation in China’s aerospace field over the past six decades. This article first reviews the Journal’s development journey for six decades and highlights the current status of its editorial board and editorial team. Second, it introduces the Journal’s distinctive features over the past decade, including high-quality paper publication, special issues/topics, the establishment of the “Perspectives” topic, cover article planning, converaged media platform development, and operation of branded academic events. Third, statistical data on publication outputs and citation metrics in the past decade are presented. Fourth, major achievements of the Journal in recent ten years are summarized, including awards received and project funding secured. Finally, future development directions for the Journal are outlined.
