Abstract:

To construct the association between system structure and equipment maintenance in production system, based on redundancy allocation problems (RAP), the opportunistic maintenance policy and state-dependent inspection intervals based on system reliability were introduced to establish joint model of system structure and maintenance policy with minimum total cost of equipment purchasing and maintenance. On the premise of ensuring system production efficiency and availability, the total cost was reduced. Markov process and universal generating function (UGF) were used to solve the steady probability vectors at inspection points, maintenance cost and system availability. The computational examples indicate that it is more economical to comprehensively consider both system structure and maintenance policy than separately no matter before system design or after system operation.
