A NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF NORMAL SHOCK WAVE DIFFRACTION OVER AN OBSTACLE

Abstract: high resolution TVD scheme is used to simulate the complex shock reflection phe-nomenon,The computation results of normal shock impinging on a wedge is compared with experi-mental results that include interferogram,isopycnics,pressure distribution,etc,and good agree-ment is shown,Agroup of simulation results of unsteady flow field of moving normal shock wave diffraction over a wavy wall are obtained, The density contours are shown clearly in the process of the flow field developed.
