Abstract: A real time model of the dual spool turbo jet engine used in a flight simulator ,as well as the modeling principle and software structure, is presented in this paper. The model is developed by a state variable method. simulation results show that the model has good accuracy over the full flight envelop. Its static performance and dynamic response can represent the physical characteristics of the real engine in operation states very well.
