DESIGN AND REALIZATION OF AIRBORNE PD TRACKING RADAR SIGNAL PROCESSOR

Abstract:

The features of a paracontinual wave three channels radar receiver are analysed and an advanced scheme of digital signal processing system is proposed. Some of the advanced techniques are applied in it. These are intermediate frequency sampling technique,very high speed DSP and its parallel architechture. To realize the design, the limit of some existing intermediate frequency sampling methods is analyzed, and a new intermediate frequency sampling filter is proposed, which is very suitable to the paracontinual wave radar receiver. As to the hardware, ADSP21060, the advanced 32 bit float point DSP and its parallel architecure are used in the system. The processor has been proved working well in practice.
