Abstract:

Under the background of radar network with the centralized fusion architecture an algorithm for phantom track jamming recognition is proposed in the presence of the difference of spatial distribution property between phantom track and target track, which is based on the mean-covariance collaborative testing. The algorithm originates from the generation mechanism of phantom track by electronic combat air vehicles (ECAV). Firstly, the difference of the statistical property between the true track and phantom track is analyzed. Then, the multi-time coordinates difference is used to construct the testing sample set according to diagonalizing and normalizing of the coordinates difference covariance matrix. Finally, the phantom track is recognized by the mean-covariance collaborative likelihood ratio testing. The results of simulation show that the phantom track can be recognized effectively according to this technique, and the correct recognition rate is still high when the random range measurement error and angle measurement error change.
