Abstract

Abstract: There exists a hierarchical relationship among engineering interfaces, database man-agement systems and programming languages.M apping from SDAI of STEP, as an example of engineering interfaces of databases,to OD B M S or RDBM S is described,A mapping strategy known as “ways to children”to“ways to children”is presented.This strategy provides an option for simplification of the mapping algorithm and improvement of system performanee.
