Abstract: Solar sail spacecraft dynamic modeling and solving are the basis of attitude control and structural vibration suppression, and they are of important theoretical and engineering significance. This article makes a reasonable simplification of the structure of a solar sail spacecraft with a control boom and control vanes, and applies the basic principles of vector mechanics to deduce the attitude dynamic formulations of the solar sail spacecraft which takes into consideration its flexible vibration, and then simplifies them, thus obtaining respectively the attitude dynamic formulations of the two types of solar sail spacecraft, those with control vanes, and those with control booms. By combining them with the vibration formulations of solar sail support beams and incorporating the definitions of unconstrained modes, the article succeeds in solving and analyzing the dynamic formulations of solar sail spacecraft on earth super-synchronous transfer orbit. The result indicates that the solar sail dynamic models presented in this article can truly describe flexible solar sail spacecraft dynamical characteristics.
