Abstract:

Aimed at the shortage of position deploying basis and dynamic changes of defense sector against submarine, flank-accompany patrol search by antisubmarine helicopter is investigated. The position of enemy submarine launching torpedo is analyzed in two situations: ideal condition and formation evasion maneuver condition. Then the deploying quantitative basis of flank antisubmarine search position is given. According to the dynamic change process of antisubmarine search sector in ship formation navigation, models are built to calculate valid defense sector of flank-accompany patrol search by antisubmarine helicopter. The demand of antisubmarine force is also analyzed. Finally, different deploying positions of antisubmarine search in flank of ship formation are simulated when submarine torpedo launching position changes and also simulated valid coverage angle of defense sector against submarine with different parameters. Results show that deploying a single antisubmarine helicopter to 12 n mile at the side of ship formation could cover ship relative bearing from 60° to 100°.
