Abstract:

Based on Poor's estimation algorithm, the error model of a navigation system is studied from the point of view of stochastic process, which modifies Poor's assumptions on random navigation system error, and extends the ergodicity of stochastic process to the case of multivariate stochastic process, pointing out that Poor's estimation algorithm must be built on the ergodicity of multivariate stochastic process for practical use, and a sufficient condition is given for the application of Poor's algorithm. Moreover, the hypothesis test problem of navigation system accuracy is discussed. It is proposed that the accuracy problem of a navigation system could be studied by multivariate statistical analysis of the relative error between two different navigation systems.
