ROBUST CONTROLLER DESIGN FOR SELF-REPAIRING FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM

Abstract: The controller for a self-repairing flight control system is the key of the system with robustness of being insensitive to the disengagement or failure of the redundancy elements.In this paper, the control strategy of redundancy elements sharing the control tasks is adopted and the theory of linear quadratic differential games is used to design the controller with robust performance and stability, which ensure that the controller is insensitive to the disengagement or failure of the redundancy actuators and maintain the failure to realize the marginally degraded performance. The result of simulation identifies the validity of the robust controller.
