Abstract:

A mathematic model of aircraft ground movement is established, considering the sixdegreeoffreedom aircraft body and the flexible landing gear strut. The landing gear system is regarded as an assembly of suspension strut, wheel, and tire, each of which is modeled as an individual module. The aircraft ground dynamic responses of steering with uniform velocity are simulated, which is verified correct by the experiential formula. A slipratiocontrolled antiskid braking system is modeled too, and the numerical simulation is carried out for the aircraft dynamic response while landing and taxiing on dry ground with anti-skid braking. The results indicate that the braking system model is correct and has good effect on aircraft. From the steering and braking simulation, three important conclusions are obtained: The top loads of the aircraft appear in the initial unstable state time while steering with uniform velocity; The flexible strut will vibrate while landing and taxiing with anti-skid braking; The slip-ratio controlled anti-skid braking system can obtains the best performance during the whole braking course.
