Abstract:

Conventionally, the aperture of array is used as an index to compare the performances of different linear arrays, but it does not take into consideration the number of sensors and the geometric configuration of array. To find the directions of arrival(DOA) signals, the manifold of array is searched in subspace class algorithms, so the array manifold plays a key role in DOA estimate. Meanwhile, array manifold is a function of the number of sensors and geometric configuration of an array.
