Study on the Electro-Hydraulic Proportional Controlled Aircraft Arresting System

Abstract: On the basis of analyzing certain aircraft arresting system which is a pure mechanical and hydraulic system, an new type electro-hydraulic proportional controlled aircraft arresting system is designed. And the pressure-displacement curve is also deduced. This paper designs the pole configuration self-tuning PID controller. Simulation results indicate that the PID controller designed is able to satisfy the need of the aircraft arresting system, the dynamic and static characteristics of the system can be improved to a certain extent.
