Abstract: A numerical integration method for stability equations is used, and stability problems of crossflow stationary disturbances in three dimensional compressible boundary layers which may have the boundary layer control are computed and investigated. An exact computational matrix expression in the outer edge where the integration is started is derived. Difficult problems in the integration for the stability equation which is a stiff equation are overcome by improved orthonormalization procedure, and orthogonal progress is controlled efficiently by using an error adjustable method. Different examples are used to study the key problem of stability changes and main effective factors of crossflow stationary disturbances is the front of transonic swept wings. Results computed are shown to be in good agreement with available data.
