Abstract:

In recent years, some progresses have been obtained in the main research aspects for radar target recognition techniques. In the situation of radar facing the so-called "four threat" i.e., stealth, jamming, low altitude invasion and antiradiation missile, it is the most pressing requirement for solving the farget recognition problem. In this paper, recent re-search works published by foreign magazines are introduced. The principles and methods of the two main aspects for classification technique are emphasized, that is, classification based on polarization, classification based on waveform, frequency response and poles. At last, assessment and prediction of tendency of development are given.
