Abstract:

Effects of vacumm annealing time on the microstructure, mechanical and soft magnetic properties of FeCo-2V-0.5Cr alloy have been investigated. After annealed at 800 ℃ for about 2 h, the alloy can obtain the optimal tensile strength and elongation while remaining good soft magnetic property, the tensile strength and elongation can reach up to 867.8 MPa and 10.4 % while the coercivity is 2.0 Oe. Further researches of the influence of the magnetic field annealing on the properties of the alloy have been conducted and the effects of different additional magnetic field ways of field-off temperature and annealing time on the loss and coercivity of the alloy have been specially investigated. It can be concluded that a suitable magnetic heat treatment has little effect on the mechanical properties of the alloy, while the coercivity of the alloy can decrease to 1.6 Oe, which is due to the uniaxial anisotropy caused by the magnetic field annealing in the alloy.
