Research on Aircraft Survivability Evaluation and Synthetic Tradeoff Methods

Abstract: A new concept is proposed that susceptibility, vulnerability, reliability, maintainability and supportability should be essential factors of aircraft survivability. A weight coefficient method and a synthetic method are proposed to evaluate the aircraft survivability based on the essential factors. Considering that it has to take cost to promote aircraft survivability, a synthetic tradeoff model of aircraft survivability and life circle cost is built. The aircraft survivability evaluation methods and synthetic tradeoff model of aircraft survivability and life circle cost would act actively on aircraft survivability design and promotion.
