Study on Approaches for Track Initiation Based on Dynamic States

Abstract:

Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional logic-based approach for track initiation,a novel track initiation algorithm based on target dynamic states is developed,and a new tracking filter initial gate is given.The algorithm firstly formes the candidate tracks using position measurements,then testes the candidate tracks by the target dynamic states acquired by modified Hough method.The simulation results indicate that the presented approache has lower false probabilities of track initiations than other methods based on traditional logic-based approach,and that the memory requirement is lowered.
