Comparison of Probabilistic Statistical Method and Interval Analysis Method for Eigenvalue Problem of Structure System with Uncertain Parameters

Abstract:

Based on the interval mathematics, the sensitivity analysis theory and the Kronecker algebra, applying the Tayler series expand method and the probabilistic perturbation technique, the nonprobabilistic interval analysis method is presented in this article to solve the eigenvalue problem of uncertain parameter structure system.It is also compared with the traditional stochastic method.Numerical algorithm of the two methods and the expressions in the Kronecker algebra of the two methods are given in this article.The results are applied and compared in the same engineering example.
