Modeling and Simulation of the Optimal Attacking Area for a TV Guided Weapon with Man in the Loop

Abstract: In order to improve the precision of TV guided weapon with man in the loop and find the optimal releasing and lauching area, the main factors and constraint conditions which affect releasing and launching area of the weapon are analyzed, a mathematic model is built for the optimal outer-defence releasing and launching area of man-in-loop TV guided weapon, and a new algorithm for computing outer-defence releasing and launching area is proposed for its solution based on the graph theory. The algorithm is simulated and analyzed. The simulation results show that the modeling and algorithm proposed are promising for discovering the optimal releasing and lauching area of the TV guided weapon with man in the loop under the guidance constraint conditions of the weapon, which can provide a basis and reference for the auto combat use planning of this type of TV guided weapon.
