Abstract

Abstract:

GAO-YONG turbulence equations are applied to the complex flow of airfoil. The influence of the D_u/D_tterm in the mechanical energy equation and the substance coefficient C_s in orthotropic turbulence viscosity are explored, and two functions are introduced to select D_u/D_tand C_s. The following airfoils in pre-stall or poststall conditions:NACA4412, AS240 airfoil are studied and compared with the experimental data.
