Abstract: This paper presents a hierarchical avionics integrated simulation system. The object of simulation is a subsystem of the avionics integrated system. The system consists of AVS(avionics simulator)、 SSCU(subsystem control unit)、 several EQS(equipment simulator )and a few equipments with a 3-level distributed system architecture. These components are connected to 2-level two-redundant 1553B bus by the MBI(multiplex bus interface). A distributed operating system for realtime control and related simulation software are successfully developed and distributed in the 3-level simulator. The distributed operating system accomplishes connection of the 2-level bus, communication control, management of parallel tasks, error test, fault treatment and real-time memory data base management. The simulation software simulates a extermal environment of the subsystem, control & display for operator, deta production and received data processing of each equipment in subsystem and application tasks for information processing. The system successfully developed, which will lay the foundation of engineering implementation, and provide an experimental environment.
