Abstract: This paper studies design and simulation of the air to air missile attack in an integrated fire/flight control(IFFC) system and presentes the structure, components and information flow chart of the IFFC system. The fire control algorithm is explored for the medium range intercepting missile attack, the design methodology and structure of the fire/flight coupler(FFC) are discussed in detail. Also carried out is the IFFC system simulation which employs a 5 DOF, nonlinear aircraft model and 3 axes ACT control stability augmentation system. The parameters of the FFC are achieved at some typical attack cases by means of simulation. The simulation results show that the automation of the missile attack is feasible in the IFFC system, and also show that the FFC has satisfied the robust performance.
