Abstract: In this article, the parameter transmission course from a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image matching point on the ground to the center of the inertia navigation system (INS) on the air vehicle is studied. Relations between the transmission stages are first analyzed, based on which the mathematical model of the parameter transmission course is established. Then an approach for error analysis and accuracy estimation for the model is proposed, and the accuracy effect from each parameter is analyzed, compared and subsequently ordered by combining the theoretical considerations and experimental results. On the basis of the above work, a synthesized estimation of transmission accuracy is computed. Simulation results of the synthesized accuracy estimation show the reasonableness of the transmission model, which may prove to be an appropriate way to accuracy distribution for an INS/SAR integrated navigation system.
