Abstract:

Taking the flow stress σ of Ti 6Al 4V as an objective function, the influences that forging parameters (deformation temperature, deformation rate, deformation degree) impose on the flow stress are studied systematically through hot compressive simulation experiments, and more, based on the mathematic theory of statistics, a new constitutive equation is developed, which can reflect synthetically the influences of forging thermal parameters on material forming property; meanwhile, the influence regularities of deformation processing parameters (deformation temperature, equivalent strain rate, equivalent strain) on the objective function are generalized, therefore, a scientific basis is provided for the numerical simulation of forging process of Ti 6Al 4V alloy, as well as the rational choice and control of forging thermal parameters.
