Abstract:

In this paper, a fault diagnosis approach is proposed to improve the integrity of Global Position System. The optimal parity vector is used to detect and diagnose satellite faults and improve the validity of satellite fault diagnosis, especially for small fault. Simulation results show that the correct detection ratio and the correct diagnosis ratio of using optimal parity vector method are higher than those of using generalized likelihood tests under the condition of small fault. The optimal parity vector method can also shorten the time spent on detecting fault. Thereby this method improves the system reliability.
