THE NUMERICAL COMPUTATION OF 3-D FLOW IN THE GAS EXHAUST CHEST

Abstract: By the use of the SIMPLE method,some numerical computations on a typically 3-Dsteady state incompressible viscous flow in the gas exhaust chest are made,The program developed can be used to solve the mass conservation equation,the momentum equations,the energy conservation equation,the k-ε turbulence equations and the heat radiation flux equations,and it is examined by some computational models. The computed results of the gas ex-haust chest are compared with some test data,and some useful results and conclusions for engineering design are obtained.
