DOUBLE-STRESS ACCELERATED MODELING AND PARAMETER ESTIMATION

Abstract: This paper suggests a new method of aceelerated life testing, which uses a double-stress power law model for Weibull distribution,and gives the corresponding method of parameter estimation. The double-stress accelerated model is suitable for any stress accelerated except temperature in life testing of mechanical components.Compared with the model of con-stant single stress accelerated,the model not only can reduce testing time but suits for any stress spectra.By using this model,the service life and reliability for high reliable components can be es-timnted.From the test data of hydraulic pump, the results are satisfactory.
