BISPECTRAL DETECTION OF NON-GAUSSIAN WEAK SIGNAL IN GAUSSIAN NOISE

Abstract: The detection performance relies finally on Signal Noise Ratio(SNR) in the traditional energy based detection technology. To improve the detection performance of the weak non-Gaussian signal in Gaussian noise, both third-order and second-order statistics of the received data are used to construct a two-channel detector. The performance of the two-channel detector is significantly improved as long as the bispectrum of received data is large enough .
