摘要: 1.工程小裂纹的尺寸范围 工程小裂纹的尺寸范围可确定在0.1~1mm之间,这是因为:(1)这一尺寸范围代表了疲劳裂纹形成的早期阶段的范围;(2)实践表明,大多数设计得较好的工程结构能够在其使用寿命期限内容许这样的小裂纹存在而不会影响该结构的安全性或功能性;(3)这一尺寸范围代表了可用连续力学的方法进行解析处理的起始水平;(4)这一尺寸范围通常比现行的服役期间的无损检测方法所能检出的裂纹尺寸要小;(5)这一尺寸范围内的裂纹如果在结构中大量出现,通常就是该结构开始破坏的信号。

Abstract: In this paper,the definition of size range for engineering samll cracks are presented. Based on an analysis for the characteristics of small crack growth, an empirical model for modifying the effect of crack closure on engineering small cracks is proposed.This model is supported by certain testing data. It is demonstrated that the model is suitable to engineering use.
