Abstract: The microstructural variety of an aluminum alloy 7075 during the superplastic thermomechanical process and tensile test was studied. The results show that the cellular microstructure (1~2μm) was formed after solution treated, furnace cooling→rolling. The alloy was recoverd and recrystallijed during the superplastic tensile test. The resultant microstructure with fine grains exhibited excellent superplasticity.
